Oliveira da Serra
More green, more life
First Harvest - an olive oil made to enjoy and honor the balance of nature
First harvest olive oil is made from the first olives harvested while still young and fresh and stands out for its exceptional quality and characteristic flavor. The new website shows the brand's commitment to the biodiversity of its olive grove.
THE BIODIVERSITY OF THE OLIVE GROVE
Oliveira da Serra has 122 species of birds, 8 species of bats, 24 species of daytime butterflies, among others that live in its olive grove, and work together, since these animals are important bioindicators and also pollinators of the soil. For example, the butterflies, or bats contribute to controlling pests, by feeding on the insects that cause them.
FROM THE OLIVE GROVE TO THE SCREEN
The new website aims to highlight the richness of olive grove biodiversity through the illusion of infinite zoom, constructed using scientific illustrations of some animals present in the olive grove. This is a digital experience where it is possible to interactively travel through the olive grove and learn about the endemic species that Oliveira da Serra helps to preserve. The sound, which accompanies all the animations, tells how each species contributes to the sustainability of a greener and more vibrant soil. Developed for the agency McCann.
