Sagres microsite to support the Portuguese team in the 2018 World Cup. Everyone's rituals during football competitions are the theme of the campaign designed by Agência JWT.
FOR PORTUGAL, REPEAT THE RITUAL
Sagres beer launched a campaign to support the national team for the 2018 Football World Cup in Russia, with the slogan “For Portugal, Repeat the Ritual”. The brand asked the Portuguese to repeat all their rituals performed during Euro 2016, where Portugal won the European Championship.
SUPPORT FOR THE PORTUGUESE NATIONAL TEAM
The microsite invited fans to describe their matchday rituals using a form. At the end of the form, a contract-like document was generated in which each fan committed to repeating the rituals they performed at Euro 2016.
The big challenge was linking the video to the information on the form. After filling in the form, the contract was shown by the entertainer Ricardo Araújo Pereira in the video, with the data already filled in by the fan. Each fan received the contract by email and could also share it on social media.
